At Fitzroy Surgery, making sure you experience outstanding care before and after your procedure is one of our highest priorities. To achieve this we always comply with regulations and adopt best practice guidelines. Our staff also maintains Fitzroy Surgery’s stringent quality standards and ensure your surgical results are something we can be proud of. Here’s the aftercare you can expect after your surgery.*

Aftercare

24-hour Fitzroy Surgery nurse

Once you’re home, you’re not on your own. You’ll have 24 hour access to a qualified, specialist cosmetic surgery nurse if you need it. You’ll be given a daytime clinic number and an out-of-hours emergency number. It enables us to provide the best care with continuous reassurance from a nursing professional who can easily contact our surgeons and Medical Director.

Post-operative appointments

All of your post-operative appointments are included in your aftercare so this will include wound-checks, stitches removal (where applicable) and sign off. You should attend all your post-operative appointments and follow all the guidance given. This is really important. Not following your team’s advice may adversely affect your results and your surgeon may decide they’re unable to conduct any necessary revision surgery if it’s needed.

Free revision

If you need any further surgery for up to 3 years following the date of your procedure, and the clinical team and your Fitzroy Surgery surgeon agrees it is needed, we will provide surgery free of charge**.

Breast augmentation revision

If you need any corrective surgery for up to 5 years after the date of your procedure, Fitzroy Surgery will provide the procedure, hospital accommodation and replacement implants of the same size where capsular contracture occurs**.

Our open door policy

If you have any concerns or queries after surgery, even if you’re outside your warranty and aftercare, we’ll provide continued patient care and a nurse will see you free of charge. For any clinical concerns, Fitzroy Surgery will arrange an appointment with a nurse, and if it’s necessary, we’ll also arrange for you to see a surgeon at the next convenient date.

Mentor implant warranty***

  • Lifetime product replacement in case of confirmed rupture
  • In the case of confirmed rupture, Mentor can offer financial assistance of up to 1000 Euros, for a period of 10 years from the date of surgery
  • Free product replacement in the case of confirmed capsular contactor, for a period of 10 years following the date of surgery (Baker grade III and IV in augmentation surgery)

Fitzroy Surgery has a duty of care to all of our patients and we would like you to be fully informed throughout your Fitzroy Surgery journey. For more information please ask your dedicated Nurse or see your Patient Information Guide (Fitzroy Surgery GA007) which will be supplied and signed at your initial consultation.
